Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant community while offering a platform for accomplished female scientists in leadership positions to share their life stories. Through candid conversations, these women will share their experiences and insights, providing guidance to the next generation of young scientists to become leaders.
This podcast episode was recorded in 2021. Even though a few years have passed and a new season is being launched in 2024, we believe this Pilot Episode is an important part of our podcast and a reminder that "good things take time".
In this episode, we feature Doctor Patricia Hurter, also known as Trish by her friends. Patricia was born in South Africa, and in the 80s, she came to the US where she graduated from MIT with a degree in chemical engineering. She is a mother of two, and she is passionate about horses and horse-riding. After retiring for only six weeks, Patricia took up the next challenge in her career: becoming the CEO of Lyndra Therapeutics.
Currently, Patricia is the former CEO of Lyndra, and she serves as a board member of Synlogic.
