Hi, I'm Ana!
I am a Portuguese scientist based in
Boston. I hold a PhD in Nanomedicine
and Pharmaceutical Innovation
and I have been actively involved in the
biotech/pharma industry since 2017.
Throughout my professional journey,
I've been fortunate to have mentors and
professors who have consistently
supported my passion for developing
novel medicines inside and outside
academia. I believe that when scientists
are equipped with the right tools and
receive adequate support, they take
ownership of their future.
My goal is to promote a more equitable society
by offering educational programs to individuals
worldwide. Inspiring the next generation of
female scientists is a core part of this mission,
with the aim of fostering increased female
representation in leadership roles.
Through access to career resources,
we empower them with the confidence
to step out of their comfort zones.
