I am a Molecular and Cellular Biologist, currently researching in the biochemistry field for a CO2 circular economy. I finished my MSc in Biotechnology for Sustainability (ITQB NOVA, Portugal, and TU Delft, Netherlands) and realized that my main scientific interest was sustainability. I started my PhD in 2020, at ITQB NOVA, where my project relies on the study of an enzyme from anaerobic bacteria capable of being part of an alternative fuel’s economy in the future. Also during my PhD, I discovered that science communication is a second passion, and being part of NCS is an amazing opportunity to do it! Outside the lab, you can find me playing the piano or the violin and dancing. I am also a travel enthusiast with a soft spot for international food!
