Biography

I am an EMBO PostDoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Ben Kleinstiver, at Harvard Medical School and Mass General (Boston, USA). My work consists of developing innovative genome editing technologies (CRISPR-Cas based) for the cure of genetic diseases. I have received my PhD from the Center of Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, in Vienna, where I studied mechanisms of DNA damage repair. I am passionate about providing young scientists with the best tools to thrive in their careers. Besides my role at the NCS, I co-organize an online seminar series on Genome Engineering with attendees all over the world. In my free time, you find me eating cheese, reading or traveling.
